Giving Compass is a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Giving Compass acquired X4Impact, a private company born out of Giving Tech Labs, a social impact innovation lab based in Seattle, WA. Initially, the data services initiative was called Giving Compass Insights, and that served as the foundation for the dataset available in Giving Compass free and Pro accounts.
