What is the Nonprofit Newsfeed?
One feed. Many nonprofits. Browse real-time updates, events, job postings, and more from organizations across the sector.
The Nonprofit Newsfeed is a real-time stream of updates published directly by nonprofit organizations. Instead of visiting dozens of individual websites, you can see what the nonprofits you care about are doing — all in one place.
What you'll find in the feed
The Newsfeed pulls content directly from nonprofits' own websites, so you're always seeing their words and updates. Posts are organized by type so you can scan quickly:
- 📝 Articles and blog posts
- 📅 Events
- 💼 Job postings
- 🤝 Volunteer opportunities
- 🎙️ Podcasts
- 🎥 Videos
Finding what matters to you
You can search the feed by keyword, filter by content type, or narrow results by location. The search is designed to understand what you mean, not just what you type — so searching "climate action" will surface relevant results even if those exact words don't appear in a post.
You can also follow specific nonprofits to build a personalized feed of updates from the organizations you care about most.
Free vs. Pro access
The Newsfeed is available to all Giving Compass users. A free account gives you a preview — the first 10 posts in the latest feed, or the first 3 posts when filters are active.
A Giving Compass Pro subscription unlocks:
- Unlimited posts with infinite scroll
- Full filtering by content type, keyword, and location
- Following mode to customize your feed
- The ability to fetch missing data from your a nonprofit using the Run AI Research tool
Where to find it
You can access the Nonprofit Newsfeed at givingcompass.org/feed or from any nonprofit's profile page.
